Bridging
PAXG originates on Ethereum and is issued by Paxos. On Robinhood Chain it exists as a canonical-bridged representation of the same token, backed 1:1 by the Ethereum-native PAXG locked in the canonical Arbitrum bridge (Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum-based L2). Bridging moves the same ounce-backed unit between chains; it does not create or destroy PAXG.
Which direction you need
- Ethereum → Robinhood Chain. Move PAXG onto RHC to trade, hold, or use inside the ecosystem. Rare for holders — the protocol distributes PAXG on RHC directly.
- Robinhood Chain → Ethereum. Move the PAXG you have claimed to Ethereum, where it can be sold on major venues or redeemed with Paxos for physical gold.
How to bridge PAXG
- Open the canonical Arbitrum bridge at portal.arbitrum.io/bridge and select Robinhood Chain as the destination (deposits) or source (withdrawals).
- Select PAXG and enter the amount.
- Review the fee (denominated in ETH) and confirm.
- Deposits (ETH → RHC) typically confirm in around 10 minutes.
- Withdrawals (RHC → ETH) wait Arbitrum's standard 7-day challenge period before the PAXG is released on Ethereum.
Avoid lookalike bridges
The canonical route is the Arbitrum bridge linked above. Sites advertising themselves as a “Robinhood bridge” or a shortcut PAXG bridge are not canonical and may not be safe. If a site is not the Arbitrum portal, do not use it to move PAXG.

Redeeming physical gold
Redemption is done through Paxos on Ethereum, subject to their minimum quantity and KYC requirements. Ore does not redeem gold directly; the protocol distributes PAXG and the ounce claim travels with the token.
Notes
- Bridging is unrelated to claiming. In hold mode you claim on Robinhood Chain first, then bridge if you want the PAXG on Ethereum. In default mode, deliveries already land on RHC.
- Ore rewards continue on RHC while your PAXG is elsewhere. Bridging PAXG does not affect your ORE position.
- Gas is ETH on both sides.
